Automated Renewables guarantees that every transaction you make at automatedfurnacefilters.com will be safe. This means you will pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your credit card as a result of shopping at automatedfurnacefilters.com.

Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Guarantee Details:
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50, Automated Renewables will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50. Automated Renewables will cover this liability only if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at automatedfurnacefilters.com while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.  Please email us with any additional questions that you may have in regards to our safe shopping guarantee.

All of your personal information is protected through the use of a Thawte Certified SSL Web Server that offers secure communications by encrypting the data sent to and from the site and stores it into the Automatedfurnacefilters.com protected database.

Shipping Policy:
Shipping and handling charges, as noted on the top of each product page, will be added to your order. All orders are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS (our option). Shipping prices are applicable to the 48 contiguous states only. Please call (do not email) to change ship-to information on an order that you have just placed.
International orders shipped outside the contiguous U.S. will be shipped via UPS. APO boxes (military mail), Canadian orders, Hawaii, Alaska, and all U.S. territories will be shipped via USPS. These orders will incur additional freight charges that will be added to the order and charged to the Customer’s credit card of record. Shipping cost on orders outside of the contiguous Unites States will not be shown at the time of checkout. International orders are only guaranteed to the point of shipment therefore damages, product defects, or other situations are the responsibility of the Customer. $50 minimum purchase on orders shipped outside of North America.  Canadian orders will incur an additional freight charge that will be added to the order and charged to the Customer’s credit card of record. Canadian orders are normally shipped via Airmail Parcel Post (USPS). Customer is responsible for all duties, taxes (including Government Sales Tax), brokerage fees, and disbursement fees. Please check with the proper governmental agency for an estimate of these fees. If a package is refused please be advised that we cannot refund the original shipping charge nor the cost to bring the shipment back to Automated Renewables. All Canadian orders will be shipped together once a week in order to reduce the cost of shipping.

Shipping Times:
Unless otherwise noted on our web site, all orders are shipped (i.e. leave our facility) within 48 hours of order placement. Orders placed after 5:00 p.m. CST will be shipped the next business day. Normal transit time via UPS Ground or USPS is 3 to 5 days within the contiguous United States.  Due to the volume of packages being shipped, UPS makes scheduled pick-ups at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm. As a result, an order that you recently placed may already have been shipped if there is any delay between the time the order is placed and the time that you call in to request any changes. Orders that have already been shipped are the responsibility of the Customer to return the merchandise for credit.

Shipping Changes:
Automated Renewables is not responsible for any lost package that is incorrectly addressed due to customer error. We generate our shipping labels from the information the customer provides, so if you enter an incorrect or incomplete address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name etc.) and your package is lost, Automated Renewables is not responsible. 

If you enter your address incorrectly on the website, and need it re-routed by UPS to the correct address, you will be charged an additional $10.00 per carton fee to cover costs. 
If you contact us by phone after your order has been placed regarding an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we will make every effort to correct your information prior to your package being shipped. However, once your package has been processed and shipped, we cannot make any modification to your shipment. If your order is lost or delivered to the incorrect address, we again are not responsible.

Conditions & Cancellation Policy:
We reserve the right to accept or refuse subscription orders at our sole discretion. Your subscription may not be assigned or transferred by you to another person or third party.  We may at our discretion change these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy without notice to you.  You may cancel your subscription at any given time by calling one of our customer service representatives.  Once you have called in and cancelled it will take 90 days for the cancellation to become effective.  It will be the customer’s responsibility to pay for any scheduled filter deliveries during the 90-day period.  We may terminate your subscription at our sole discretion without notice.

Subscription Fees:
The amount charged to your credit card for the Subscription Service will be the price of the furnace filter the day the order is processed, plus any applicable sales tax. We reserve the right to increase the price of your filters at any given time.  Price will not increase more than 10% in any given year.  The charge for each shipment will be billed to the credit card or PayPal account used to when you first set up your account your account. If the payment method becomes invalid at any time during the subscription period or if the charge is otherwise rejected, we will notify you immediately. Your subscription will be on hold until the problem is resolved.  Subscriptions will remain in effect until you call and cancel.

Custom Size Filters:
Custom size furnace filters are built to your exact specifications. As a result, these filters may not be returned for refund or credit. All custom size air filters are built to tolerances of + or – 1/8″.
CAUTION: Most air filters are stamped with a size that is NOT the actual dimension of the filter. Example: A 16×25 filter typically measures 15 1/2 x 24 1/2. Please MEASURE your current air filter in order to get the exact dimensions.

Thickness Specifications:
1/2″ filters measure approximately 3/8″.
1″ filters measure approximately 3/4″.
2″ filters measure approximately 1 3/4″.
4″ filters measure approximately 3 5/8″.
